Lots of rain in early summer made the plants sprout extensively in our tree nurseries.
Unfortunately also the unwanted ones! So we had to put a lot of attention to weeding, sowing free areas, fertilizing and installing shading nets, to ensure the quality of the saplings for the next planting activities. All saplings stand well at this point, and also the ash seeds finally germinated at the end of April – after one year of delay – resulting in almost 8,000 saplings.
