Grazing season is excellent at our organic farm in Cobor!
Our boarding horses are allowed to roam freely over 20 ha of securely fenced grassland amidst the beautiful Transylvanian hills – ideal conditions for young or retired horses, as well as for mares with foals. Currently, our mixed group includes 8 mares and 2 geldings between two and 21 years and it is a pleasure to see how well they are interacting as a herd. We have multiple pastures available, so we can also group horses to everybody’s benefit – such as the two yearling stallions that spend their time playing with each other and such getting incredibly fit and strong! Also Takko el Samawi, our Arabian breeding stallion, enjoys the privilege of being on a pasture all the time, occasionally even with his mares.

At Cobor, we are proud to provide a high quality of services to your horse: besides the constant supply of fresh grass, horses have access to sun and weather shelters, daily grooming, additional feeding, and regular vet and farrier services. Dedicated staff is ensuring that horses are well looked after and receive all the attention they need. A large, modern stable with 10 boxes and direct access to paddocks makes Cobor also the perfect place to give a vacation to your equine athlete – and to you: in our renovated guest house right at the edge of this 13th century village you get to enjoy local, organic cuisine and the tranquility and amazing biodiversity of Transylvania.

Costs for pasture boarding at Ferma Cobor: 150 €/month (May-October), 200 €/month (November-April).
