What Carpathia fellows say: Experiences that inspire and motivate
“I am lucky to have been awarded this scholarship. I was very nervous when I applied for the Carpathia Fellowship programme, but it was and remains the best experience. I would love to participate again next year. Thank you for this opportunity!” Roth Andreas, Racovița Secondary School.
“This scholarship has really helped me fulfil a BIG dream of planting fruit trees in my entire garden. Being a Carpathia scholarship holder has been a beneficial experience for me and has made me very ambitious to learn well, read, and enrich my knowledge in biology and geography, and not only,” Roberto Oancea, Recea Secondary School.
What is the Carpathia Fund?
The Carpathia Fund is an annual programme that provides non-reimbursable grants and scholarships to initiative groups and students in the communities of Țara Făgărașului. Supported by Foundation Conservation Carpathia, the goal of the programme is to increase interest in nature conservation and improve the quality of life in the Țara Făgărașului region by supporting educational initiatives.
Through the Carpathia Scholarship Fund, a component of the grant programme, FCTF and Foundation Conservation Carpathia aim to discover and support students who excel in school and show interest in biodiversity conservation and ecology.
