After a winding road, we can appreciate the results of an ambitious project, through which we have laid the ground for an economic development which can support nature conservation.

On July 28th, we met with local decision makers from all over the Fagaras Mountains Natura 2000 site at the Brasov Governor’s house.

We presented and explained the results of the project’s activities and how these can contribute to enhance nature services through low impact economic activities, on a long term.

Some successful examples from all around the world were presented by our partner’s Conservation Capital RO expert, Matt McLuckie.

After the meeting we have been invited by local mayors to visit their communes and to see how we can use the tools resulted from the project’s activities.

We are thankful to all who have supported and participated to the achievement of this project.
