Conservation Carpathia Foundation supports the Campaign initiated by Federația Coaliția Natura 2000 România regarding the rejection of the Legislative Proposal for the amendment and completion of the Emergency Ordinance No. 57/2007 regarding the statut of protected areas, conservation of natural habitats, wild flora and fauna, registered at the Senate with no. L173 / 2017, which would allow the removal of specific areas from national parks, nature parks, reserves and other protected areas to allow the exploitation of mineral resources under old licenses, approved before 2007 (Senate Proposal).
