It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to Dan Dimăncescu, member of the Board of Directors of Foundation Conservation Carpathia .

With a distinguished career in diplomacy and entrepreneurship, Dan Dimăncescu was Romania’s Honorary Consul in Boston and a dedicated supporter of conservation. He joined our cause eight years ago, passionately and determinedly supporting the Foundation’s projects, in particular the vision of creating a National Park in the Făgăraș Mountains.

We thank Dan for his dedication, inspiration and perseverance in supporting nature projects. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
