The festival ‘Cobor between the Oaks’ invites you to discover the beauty of centuries-old oak pastures, enjoy live music and unique activities and relax in the heart of nature. Organised by Foundation Conservation Carpathia, the event will take place on 22nd and 23rd June at the Cobor Biodiversity Farm in the picturesque Transylvanian village of Cobor, Brașov county. Tickets are available from LiveTickets.ro, offering the opportunity to live an unforgettable experience during the Pentecost holiday.
With a variety of activities prepared for participants, the festival aims to provide an exciting experience for all who attend. These include visits to the meadows with oak saplings just taking root, guided tours through the village of Cobor, as well as exploring the Cobor Biodiversity Farm to see the Transylvanian Grey cattle, Carpathian Shepherd dogs and the horse livery accommodation. The hiking trails will be a little different, so those who went to the first festival can discover new landscapes.
“We are pleased to invite nature and culture lovers to the second edition of the festival ‘Cobor between the Oaks’,” said Victoria Donos, Communications and Outreach Director, Foundation Conservation Carpathia. “It is a unique opportunity to rediscover the beauty of Transylvanian traditions and local biodiversity in a spectacular setting.”
On the two nights of the festival, the courtyard of the Cobor Biodiversity Farm will be animated by live music by Ana Coman, the band Moonlight Breakfast and Taraf de Caliu with Viorica.
Children’s activities and local delicacies will be right at home providing a memorable summer experience. During the festival, participants will be able to take part in a guided bike tour (cost separate from the festival ticket), explore a small market with local craftsmen and artisans, admire a photography exhibition and enjoy delicious food from local producers. Participants are also invited to explore the botanical and entomological world of the Transylvanian Hills in an exciting tour of knowledge and reconnaissance.
Those attending the festival will be able to share these special moments with their loved ones by sending postcards directly from the event, thanks to our partnership with Romanian Post.
